The University Clinic in Heidelberg opened the Heidelberg Ion-Beam Therapy Center (HIT) on November 2, 2009.

In addition to its unique method for treating tumors, the heavy ion cancer therapy also represents an important contribution to research and development. radprax has entered into a partnership with the University Clinic in Heidelberg and is therefore entitled to use university facilities for radprax clients.
